A bright and sunny Ron Dine Memorial Reserve was the venue for these important matches where every team was fighting for the right to play in next week’s Grand Finals.

Football NSW in conjunction with its popular television program Football Stars of Tomorrow have put together a coaching tips DVD for promising footballers, parents and coaches.

Bright sunshine and a gentle breeze greeted the teams as they gathered for the second round of the finals series – the Major and Minor Semi Finals.

The teams converged on Valentine Sports Park for the first round of the finals series on a bright and sunny winter’s day and the football played was nothing short of sensational, promising much for the future rounds of the finals.

Well, the competition is over for another year and what a season it has proved to be it lots of ways. Most importantly, the standard of football has been very high indeed and that is a real tribute to the coaches and the players from all of the teams.

Here we are with just one more round to play and therefore just one more chance for teams to earn the points that will give them the best possible finishing position. There were a few “shock” results this week so anything is likely to happen next week.

The good news was that only two fixtures were lost to the wet weather last weekend and they will need to be rescheduled over the next two weeks.
